Tau Cheo Hae/Tauco Udang/Preserved soya bean Shrimp |
![](http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/1479/4199/400/tc.jpg) This dish is one of my most favorite dishes , My sisters ( I got 4 sisters!) and all of them are master in cooking this taoco Udang. It’s very simple and easy to cook , here you are :
Ingredients: Shrimp Of course 2ea Garlic –finely chopped 2ea Red onion – finely chopped 2cm Ginger – pounded (optional ) 3ea red Chilies ( or less) – sliced 3 ea green chilies (or less) – sliced 3 ea Chili padi - hot hot hot) àoptional 3 tbs Tauco or preserved soya bean 2ea Tofu ( cut square 2 x 2 cm ) 2ea Tempe (cut square 2 x 2 cm ) 8ea Long bean - cut 4 cm 2 tbs coconut milk 1 tomato – cut in to 6 pcs 2tsp sugar A bit of seasoning ( I use Royco) A tiny bit salt
Process : Fried Tofu and Tempe till half cooked only, take and place ‘em in the plate. Stir fry the garlic and red onion until fragrant .Add the shrimp cook until the color change a little bit then add long bean. Add all Chilies and the preserved soya bean , add half a cup of water ,coconut milk, salt, sugar . Leave it for approx. 1 minute before add tomato and half cooked tofu and Tempe . If it is too dry can add more water.
