Because of this dish I have to suffer the aroma for 2 days ;-) ,Jengkol is always taste very nice to me but I can’t stand the smell..it will stay in your breath for 2 days! Dare to try ? Recipe as follows:
4 block of Tempe à cut rectangular thinly or as you like 15 or more pcs Jengkol à cut into 2 or 4 ( up tp you )
To be finely pounded : 8 Red chillies 4 onion 2 garlic A pinch of belacan
sliced : 6 Red Chillies 4 green chillies 2 onion
Directions: Fry the tempe til golden browned as well as Jengkol , put aside. Stir fry the sliced red/n green chillies and onion , stir in the finely pounded ingredient , stir in Tempe and Jengkol.. add 1 tsp salt , 1tsp sugar and black ketchup . Ready to be served. Labels: cooking |
